Go Holland!

Bom dia torcedoras!
Good morning supporters!

As you may know by now, hubby is Dutch, so I cheer for The Netherlands as well, as long as they don't face Brazil, of course! Hehehehehehe
But seriously, I love The Netherlands. The country is beautiful, organized and clean (depending on the city, of course). People are sympathetic, high spirits, sarcastic and kind at the same time. I could spend hours complimenting them, so...

I did this mani watching Brazil's match on Tuesday and was supposed to publish it yesterday, because of the match Netherlands x Australia, but I forgot I already had Pool Crush scheduled... rsrsrsrsrsrs
As base colour I used Alpine Snow by OPI, and to get the exact shades of blue and red, I had to run after two new polishes, because I didn't have any vermillion red nor cobalt blue (although I have more than 50 shades of blue). The red one is London by Mavala and this gorgeous blue is Bleu Majorelle by Yves Saint Laurent (my second polish by the brand... uhuuuuuul).

I have to admit it was a pain in the butt to make this one. I thought it would be super easy, but it wasn't.
I started from the pinky and the ring finger using the stripping tapes to set the spaces, but I got annoyed, because they make everything take longer. So I went with free hand for the other nails.

It was such a mess with the red polish I felt like the time when I still trimmed my cuticles, didn't leave any gaps on the nail bed and thought I knew how to apply nail polish... LMAO. You can see it was difficult to clean, right? At the end I just gave up on perfectionism because it was already late and I didn't want to hurt my cuticles.

Despite not being perfectly symmetric as I wanted, I still love the result!
Big kiss and see you tomorrow!
